This is a vintage Shure 545s Series Unidyne III dynamic cardiod microphone. Designed in late 1959, and mostly referred to as a Pistol Grip, it was a go-to microphone for musicians in the 1960's and 1970's. It is the forerunner of Shure's SM series of microphones, starting with the SM57.
